The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident where Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, was shown on a livestream assaulting a professional wrestler at the KnokX Pro Wrestling event.
What was supposed to be a “work” turned into a real-life event.
The incident was broadcast on the livestreaming platform Kick and showed Jackson slamming Stuart Smith, also known as “Syko Stu,” to the mat before standing over top of him and punching him several times in the head.
Smith lay motionless in the ring after he was struck more than two dozen times in the face.
Raja, who was caught on camera incriminating himself before the assault, had to be restrained by several other wrestlers before he inflicted more damage.
Now we are seeing how the entire situation started from the beginning.
At the start of the live stream, Raja Jackson could be seen meeting with several wrestlers before he encountered Syko Stu.
“Hell nah,” Jackson could be heard replying when Stu asked if he was unaware of who he was.
That is when Stu picked up a beer can and smacked it over the head of Raja Jackson.

Stu, looking confused, asked if he was going to “sell it,” which means Jackson was supposed to pretend the move hurt him.
Syko Stu’s Brother Gives Health Update Following Raja Jackson’s Assault

Syko Stu was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. He was awake and talking but had broken bones in his face and lost “a lot of teeth.”
He is said to be in stable condition but remains in critical care, according to an update his brother Andrew provided.
Andrew posted on Facebook on Sunday, asking for continued prayers for his brother, Stuart Smith. “Thank you everyone for your prayers, concerns, and kind words for my brother Stu. Please continue to keep him in your prayers,” Andrew wrote.
The wrestler is “currently stable but in critical care,” his brother said, adding, “At this time we’re focused on his recovery and appreciate all the support.”
After the incident, Raja Jackson’s father “Rampage” Jackson addressed the incident in a statement on X. “Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match. Raja was told that he could get his ‘payback’ in the ring, I thought it was a part of the show,” the 47-year-old former UFC star wrote. “It was bad judgment, and a work that went wrong.”
“Raja is an MMA fighter, not a pro wrestler, and had no business being involved in an event like this,” Rampage continued. “I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL! He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact.”
“As a father, I’m deeply concerned with his health AND the well-being of Mr. Smith .. I’m very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery,” Rampage concluded.
